You can't die indeed,but if you screw up in a jump you will be placed somwhere before you started to jump. And if you screw up in a fight, then the enemy's health bar will increase.

i think u mite be able to die if elika is knocked out. not trapped, but knowcked out. elika can get knocked out if the enemy changes state and she hits the enemy. she'll be pushed back and knocked out.
