This new offering also features the Vermeer-exclusive TrenchSense™ electronic control system that monitors engine rpm and automatically reacts when a sudden drop is detected to prevent stall or engine stop. The RTX550 fills an important niche, especially for secondary, shorter-run utility service installations where confined space is often a concern.

Vermeer really needs to modernize their YouTube videos. Skip the completely unnecessary intro that will drop half of the viewers of pure boredom and get to the point about the product and it's benefits immediately. Also don't make them look like an 1980's video commercial. The product videos at vermeer.com are much better, showing how the machines operate.
