We started making "Gay Family Values" videos as a response to prop 8 here in Ca. These videos have been a huge hit. We have come to understand that the reason these videos are so popular is that people dont get to see what it means to be a gay couple in a long term relationship raising children. Our family is no better and no worse then any other family.

We have been getting lots of questions about our family and in the past we would respond to every email we received. We have decided to open our family up to questions you may have

This was a very hard video to make for bolth me & Bryan. Sorry the video was so long belive me we edited A LOT out.

Question 1. Will you make your children be Christian? or wil you let them choose? BY

http://www.youtube.com/user/rainbowpagan

Question 2: Being gay & Christian do you have a hard time exsplaining to other people about your religiouse beliefs. I want to say I am sorry for not adding the original video question http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o671bnm__A but the sound wouldnt play correctly. Thank you crippledzebra for a great question.

Our friend Sean Chappin has started a petition to get us on LOGO lets give him a hand

  • Are you sure you're a gay family? How do you know your kids are gay, aren't they a little young to have worked out whether they're gay or straight yet?

  • @MynameisElliott Have never said our kids are gay...My guess is they are straight...The title gay family is because there parents are gay and parents are the head of a family. If you are Catholic you would be a Catholic family even if the kids grow up and become atheist.

  • I just like to say that this is my favorite video. I'm a gay Christian struggling with my sexuality, but I trust in God to help me. You guys rock!

  • @RWMusic90 I have been you and once we understand that God made all of us in his image life gets easier...If you ever need a friend when you are feeling weak just reach out ok.

  • i feel sad 4 these children....

  • Daniel and Selena are cute as buttons! Great kids!!!!

  • Good videos, guys! I was a gay dad for about 10 years. As the "step" I was never accepted by my partner's son. But I stayed until he was 18 and left home. As with straight families, it doesn't always work. Seeing your good family situation has helped me heal somewhat from the bummer experience I had once. Bless you!

  • I just discovered you guys and I'm watching all of your ask a gay family episodes. You guys are awesome :) I was raised mormon and still consider myself to be mormon, but I'm also bisexual and see things differently than a lot of people in the religion. I know to a lot of people me being gay and mormon makes absolutely no sense, but that is who I am and I'm not gonna let any one take that away from me.

  • its funny, for the longest i've been avoiding this video because i'm not all that religious and i didn' really know what to expect out of it. last night i had a heated argument with my friend that went from gay to religion and after watching this, it really said a lot. great video guys, and i noticed for once bryan wasn't wearing those black jeans of his :-P
