Well I didn't make the 15 strip light that forms its guts but the valance reflector and end caps were my work. First cut a piece of sheetmetal twice as wide as the fixture and slightly longer and find the center of it and bend it lengthwise into a shallow V. Then trace that and the strip light itself over some cardstock to make a template. Cut out the template and trace it over some sheetmetal. Cut that out of the sheetmetal as well as leaving a half inch lip around the edges. When you cut that out, fold the lip perpendicular from the original traced line. Screw endplates to either end of the one bulb strip light you're using and then place the reflector valance in between the endcaps just underneath the lip. Tension will hold it in place and you can take it out for changing the bulb. Install fixture where you like and enjoy.
