  • To the one who posted this fine episode, which included commercials, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.

  • You're quite welcome. I do have a couple more episodes of this show. I'll get them posted soon.

  • @matthias1949 Good luck. After nearly 55 years, these classic 39 episodes are shows for the ages.

Today's television does not hold a candle to this.

    Happy Valentine's Day.

  • If they did this in 2012, the Police SWAT Team would break down their door shoot their pet if they had one and then proceeed to shoot them both!

  • Don't make her suffer

  • @KennyofME I agree! I like the old commercial, its pretty cool to watch it like they used to when it was aired :o)

  • Wow, the commercial is almost as compelling as the show itself! Classic!

  • Dang, commercials were looooooong in those days! I guess they could be -- there wasn't any remote control, and even if there had been there weren't many other channels to click to to avoid the ads.

Thank you for including the commercials. They really add a lot to the historical significance of these posts.

  • Wow! I wish I was in my 20's or 30's in the 1950's! A $5.00 rent increase every 10 years?!!!!

  • The door opens out. Putting the dresser in front of the door does nothing heh

  • thank you for the time warp trip to the 50"s; commercial and all.awasome.

  • In those days, a sponsor like Buick preferred to limit their advertising in a half-hour program with a single two and a half minute "intermission", and a brief 30 second pitch by Jackie at the end of the show. Today, commercial time is so fragmented, I'm not sure advertisers [and there are DOZENS of them during every "break"] are actually aware of the fact that people "change channels" (or do "other things") when their commercials are shown in a "cluster" of 15 and 30 second spots...

  • thanks for the originals!!!

  • there must have been no crime back then if the police could afford to have so many officers serving an eviction notice to one guy lol

  • thank you so much i love this episode
