Laser Detection test at 100m

7 different radar detectors are tested against a LTI Ultralyte 100 LR speed laser gun to determine which radar(laser) detector is the best unit for alerting to a laser hit on your car. This test was done at 100m distance. Detectors tested: Bel STi-R remote, Bel STi, Cobra 9930, Escort X50, Whistler Pro-78, XTR-690, V1.

What a bullshit test. Laser targetting is always painting and such a sweep did infact set the STI-r unit off. I have the STI-r and a laser gun, and I can tell you it detects laser 100% reliably so stop posting BS.

@createcoms In fact, laser targeting is NOT painting. The laser must be pointed at ONE spot on the vehicle and that reference point used to obtain a calculation of the vehicles speed. NOT wildly throwing the laser beam across the front of a vehicle and HOPING that something comes up.
