Loved your video, but sure looks like you had a lot of work getting those plants in. Have you thought about drilling a hole in the side of your buckets and layering the roots in that way? Kinda like people do with Strawberry planters. I'm sure it would be a lot easier, and should give the same results. As for your video, I thought it was very entertaining and informative. You guys have a great sense of humor. Keep up the good videos, I want to see more of them.

Glad to hear from you and glad that you like what me and boys have been up to. Where is the birthday video? How is Helen and the upside down tomatoes?

Hi there, I'm going to start growing my own tomatoes soon and I would appreciate if you could update me (and youtube at large) on how Helen's upside down plants worked out?
Thanks!

Very dry summer here in Pa. The upside down plants needed water every day! Next year I will add an absorbant to the mixture to insure water supply. A friend suggested planting flowers on top. I did and it was not a good idea. If I wanted to add soil to the top the flowers made this imposible. The harvest was good. But should have been better. Thanks for your inquiry and good luck on your crop. Look for our update next year, cause We'll BE Back!
