A ride on Thor at moors valley railway. Thor is the biggest engine, but is hardly used. Unfortunatly on the journey there and back, I had some stupid buggys in the luggage bit infront of me, but I did try to get a reasonably good video of the loco, without getting to much of the luggage in the shot! Please view pt 2 to see the journey back, (Lakeside to Kingsmere)
Thor has done 200 plus miles each year since completion in 2005, this year it will celebrate it's first 1000 miles all of which except 60 miles has been completed at MVR. I am exceptionally pleased with it's performance, but being a big engine it only comes into it's own during the high season, but does appear at other times when traffic dictates, keep watching and riding you might be surprised!.
