My nightingale, come and make a wish, say it with me.
Your voice will be heard, my grieving nightingale.
My grieving nightingale,
My grieving nightingale.
Aaaah, my grieving nightingale, my God!
My distressed nightingale.

You were all alone in your desolate home,
You suffered things no one should suffer.
Everyone knows you aren't laughing, my grieving nightingale.
My grieving nightingale,
My grieving nightingale.
Aaaah, my grieving nightingale, my God!
My grieving nightingale.

I'm melting inside out, my grieving nightingale.
My grieving nightingale,
My grieving nightingale.
Aaaah, my grieving nightingale, my God!
My grieving nightingale.

Oh the suffering,
Aaaah, my grieving nightingale, my God!
My grieving nightingale.

No idea if this is true...but if so, it reminds me a bit of Barbra Streisand's Bio...I think Safiye Ayla was very pretty, though.

that is a rumor, not a fact..
I don't think Ataturk was such an insensitive and rude person..
He is known to be an artistic and soulful man.
