Hi there and I agree with you about the new dante, not being all that bad, I also agree that fans should'nt judge this game over it looks considering the fact that it havent even came out.

I could really care a less about gameplay. I'm interested in the storyline. Psychological thrillers always get me :D

@vergilsvamp I wtc the anme too.. books?comic? yeah it will be better if this punk is dante's son. but how bout gameplay? i found a trailer that it "looks like"(i dont know 4 sure till i play it) they change the game engine. since dmc 1 released on ps 2, the game play was original, i never play a games like this, capcom should stay w/that. then van hellsing and ghost rider game play is similar w/ dmc. but now? really, its look like Gow and Prototype mixed up. :-\

@ebrinify I HAVE played all four games and read the books and watched the anime.

I don't have an Xbox anymore, so I can't really play Prototype or GoW, though I wish I could because they sound like awesome games.

Changing the story probably isn't a bad thing. Hell, for all we know, New Dante could be old Dante's son.

@vergilsvamp its better if capcom ends the devil may cry story and make a new game title w/ that emo guy.. ill play it gladly, like i play prototype or GoW :-) just dont use Devil may Cry or dante ever. let DMC 1,2,3,4 be epic i our memories instead of ruin it w/ a new story, gameplay, etc. :-\

@vergilsvamp do you play the devil may cry series? do you play it good? can you jump cancel (DMC3&4)? if not, well.. you dont "feel" what we (true fans) feel.. maybe you should watch the new trailer..GND796 always follow the trailer. Do you play prototype and god of war? watch and compare w/ a DmC path&battle trailer.. i found a similar gameplay w/ prototype and god o war.. I just hate that! even worse, they change the story :-p

@andredw I happen to LIKE New Dante and I was trying to convince people that he isn't all that bad. See, DmC has YET to even hit the shelves yet and people are criticizing it like they have played it. It pisses me off that they do so, and then call themselves "true fans" like they think its a GOOD thing to criticize it negatively.
