FFXII - NLB - Farming at Cerobi

This vid shows what I did for over 12 hours while doing the NLB challenge. It can be quite a hassle, but at least (IMO) it's easier than chaining Dustias.

I know, I know, the odds of you getting Scathe Mote and Holy Mote is low, as well as Balance Mote, but hey, it's easier/faster than stealing them from Terror Tyrant.

This vid takes place in Cerobi's Journey Rest, where a Save Crystal is at. After that, head north into Crossfield. Turn to the right (there is a rock), hug the right side. If there's a "!", open it, it can be a Holy Mote.

Now head north and you'll see a tree. To the right of it, if there's a pot, open it, and you might get a Balance Mote. (Which isn't apart of this vid).

Turn a little bit to the right, and you should see pot. Go open it, and you might get a Scathe Mote. For people not doing NLB, if you equip the Diamond Armlet you can get a Ribbon from here instead. If I was doing this for my normal game, I would've gotten over 99 Ribbons already. Note: Sooner or later, you'll get use to see if this pot is there from far a way (preferably after passing the tree on the left). If you still haven't gotten any motes by this point and no Scathe Mote pot, reset and try it again.

i try like 100 times (reset n reest ) still no get ribbon T_T ( with D.Armlet equip )

Can you really get more than one ribbon from the pot? I got mine from the pot where you got the scathe mote. I've been trying for awhile now and have'nt seen a second one yet.

Even though this may not be the easiest way (said by many), you can get more than 1 Ribbon from the Scathe Mote pot, if you have the Diamond Armlet on of course.

I'd like to know where you can find the actual Holy spell, as well as Scathe, Ardor Shock and Flare. Supposedly the Holy spell can be found in Balfonheim but where?

yeah but by this time you can have the deathbringer and zodiac spear and even the artimus bow so the dbane is almost not even worth it...i spent an hour trying to get it...still nothing

yeah Also suggest using vaan,ashe,basch all with armlets equipped and fran/penelo on the reserve with a DA equipped ull get it in 100 tries atleast one..Yes its 1.5 percent chance overall its all luck mate u cud possibly get 6 in 6 tries which is like impossible but yet possible ..Reasoning behind this is Its near impossible b/c its low chance to get all 6 in 6 tries

YEAH THANK YOU I SAID THIS ASWELL.. It is so much easier you get it without DIAMOND ARMLET + YOULL GET DEMONSBANE THE SWORDS WHICH IS A GOOD SWORD AT THAT POINT IN TEH GAME

DUDE you can get holy motes in the tomb of raithwall, after you beat the optional boss...head down those secret flight of stairs in the north and you'll come to a chest where you get gill, a holy mote or the demonsbane(the sword i was hoping to get but never got). I got like 3 holy motes while trying for the DB. totall tries = 9...i could also have been lucky :)
