GTP Open Day 2009 - Dato Sri Idris Jala Part III (Final)

The government is committed in its effort in transforming government and changing lives as well as to deliver its promises as stated in the National Key Results Areas (NKRAs) said Minister in the Prime Ministers Department and CEO of Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), Datuk Seri Idris Jala.

We will miss some target, we will make some, we will fulfil some, and we will surpass some. said Idris Jala, adding that the government will be transparent about what they have met and what they have not in the annual report.

The NKRAs are basically the fundamental needs of the rakyat. The 6 NKRAs were identified through various means such as the Media Reports (May 2009), Merdeka Polls (June 2009), Global Competitiveness Index (2009) and so on.

In delivering a passionate speech on the NKRAs, Idris has made it clear that his team will do every bit to produce results and that the Prime Minister is rock solid behind it.

The Prime Minister will personally lead and champion the NKRAs he said.
