born in the uk but both parents greek .... my traditions and my ways are greek ... same with this singer helena... she was born in sweden but she is greek ... when people ask where i am from i say that im greek in every way

The father from Bosnia Hercegovina and mother from Croatia but they and a huge part of people say he is swedish with bosnian/croatian genes. Same thing there.. Born swedish in Sweden = from Sweden. IF some one ask where you was born and your from you say the village/town/city and country.
"My name is Robert, i was born is Los Angeles, USA and i´m a proud american but i have foreign parent (then where they from)" etc etc.

@margimarable > Well, it depends on her.. Maby she feel more greek than swedish, she live there i guess and represented Greece so. But you are were you from, thats the truth & fact. You can be born in a country and move to another immediately after and live there or anywhere else the rest of your life.. You still from the same country you left on matter how much you don´t think you are, feel or belive it.
