I LOVE Hilo, it's so beautiful. The gardens are one of the most beautiful spots I went to while I was there. . jpdrag0n, I understand what you mean -- I'm originally from NYC, and I got bored there too, so, the more you see of the world, the less boring it is. I love Hilo alot, and it's probably because I wasn't born and raised there that I it has that affect on me -- the same way LA and Tokyo had for you. Aloha, Ben

My Great Grandpa Lived rite on Liliuokalani But the Goernment took the land away and built a Jappense Island Wahts up with that.

It's not boring, just depends what you like! If you're looking for excitement and nightlife, then yeah, it's probably not for you. The people that come to live here do so because they WANT to get away from the rat race.

i was born n raised in hilo. its hella pretty but you wouldnt wanna live there...trust me it gets boring after awhile. maybe cuz i been to LA and tokyo since then.
