Camel Snow Goose - Fritha Alone

A cover version of Camels "Fritha Alone" from the Snow Goose album
Played by myself on a Roland XP-80 on setting PRA-012 (Piano and Strings). I originally learned to play this piece from a midi file by Laurence Dorsey (DoorC) found on the net, but I altered it a lttle to be closer to the album version.

I've dedicated this cover to Andy Latimer, one of the original writers (+Peter Bardens), who has been very ill of late. The candle is for the hour candle that Susan Hoover asked us all to light for him. We all hope that he continues to improve.

I have not heard this song since 1978. It was THE song that reminds me of a man I knew...he died in 1980 of cancer. I thought I would never hear this again. It brought back so many vivid memories that I'm crying now....thank you so much. I have dreamed of him over the years but never saw him as clearly as I do right now. THANK YOU!
