@Immortal1000 I'm from that era, and I can tell you...it may have been popular with mother's who wanted a cute "little buster brown" image for thier kids...BUT it was a rather "sissified" to the average he-boy, so you would have been picked on.

@tonybklyn Today a kid with that haircut would be picked on or beaten up by bullies but
this commercial is from the 70's when that kind of haircut was in style.
