Nano Lagoon (Just got my lights in the mail!)

Finally got the bulbs in the mail and she looks really nice, much nicer than the bulbs that came with the unit (as expected). Only a amtter of time before coral introduction!

@Minnick22 the wattage difference will simply penetrate the light deeper into the tank. If all you are keeping is softies I wouldn't worry too much!

@Minnick22 There is a video on the channel about the bulbs. They are coralife 20w 10000K 50/50 actinic screw in bulbs. It's about time I replaced them too. Will probably get a video of that up.

where did you get the lights and are they screw on or plug in like with the barb and you push it in not a screw

hey,i am new to this and i have a 10 gallon fish tank that i plan on turning into a nano lagoon,would a standard filter work with it because ive seen some videos with stuff called skimmers and i dont know if that is needed,can you tell me where i can get those light bulbs and would i be able to just plug them into a standard cover like yours that came with my fish tank? thanks

haha i love how i just set up a 10 gallon reef tank and never looked at anything on the internet and seen how every one is using coralife bulbs and it just so happens that before this i switched the regular bulbs that i had with coralife 50/50 20w bulbs that i got for free, i have to say it makes the tank took vary nice

@Minnick22 try looking for a local club around your area. Local reefers usually frag their stuff all the time.
