MERC SUCKS - Emergency Venting of Steam

This is one of many videos I have recorded of MERC having a problem and venting steam.

If you load too much into the incinerator and/or fail to catch discarded propane tanks from entering the combustion chamber, the plant shuts down and has an emergency pressure release by venting steam. This is an automatic safety function.

This happens in emergency situations...and happens at least once a week. And thats only when I am around to hear it! How can this be safe? If MERC was a reactor and not an incinerator it would have been closed down a long time ago.

I've called the cops, the enviroline etc...and even been in e-mail contact with the Chief of Police in Saco and the Fire Chief in Biddeford.

MERC is unsafe, noisy, and malodorous. They do whatever they want, whenever they want regardless of the law or any contracts they have signed. Its time to Dump MERC.

lol I live in biddeford I haven't notice it much it seems alright better then making a garbage pit besides it only pollutes a little
