  • Depends on the criteria of "horrible." If all good jazz drummers sound alike, then Ginger is a complete failure! To me, being different is a critical element of modern jazz drumming, and Ginger definitely has a signature sound about him . . . like a militaristic swing. Love it!

  • All the negative comments about Ginger's drumming are kinda lame and annoying IMO ... I doubt that many of negative posters play an instrument that well ... seems they're blinded by their jazz snobbery. Ginger is an original with a style all his own and I'm sure it was an honor for Bill and Charlie to share some sound space with this man. Yeah, a typical jazz drummer may have sounded "better" to these folks, but they're stuck in their narrow and generic view of what jazz really is. It's sad.

  • NIce audio and camerawork on a good tune. Works for me. Thank you so much. I love the big grin and smile on Ginger's face, which is unusual! He love's Charlie's bass solo, and the band really jelled, in one tight package,

  • hes playing a fucking toilet plunger for gods sake

  • I think some of you miss the point, there some excellent moments in his playing he has a rock style & it shows in his overplaying, but if you listen to Elvin he overplays to hell & some of it is crap but there are brilliant moments in his playing & thats music is about we play in the moment & how we feel.

Oh yes In my book the GREATEST Jazz drummer Britain ever produced was Phil Seaman was ahead of his time & most USA musicians who came over knew that & booked him as a their man.

  • @MrDrumsPhilAmbros and you are the best right? jaja pendejo
