Sleep Talking Greyhound

DeeDee the greyhound chases and barks at the evil rabbit that haunts her dreams in the daytime. J/k - I don't know what she's dreaming, but it must be good!

P.S. Don't worry about the shirt. She insists on wearing it, and I keep fixing it when she stretches it out. She has "real" doggie PJs coming soon. :-)

@85nikki96 Awww, thank you! That's very sweet! DeeDee is a wonderful dog, and I am very, very lucky to have her. She's so much fun to live, play, and work with. I guess you could say we're there for each other. :-) Thanks again for leaving such a sweet comment!

My Greyhound does this, it's so cute. I sometimes here her at night in the other room where she sleeps doing little 'whisper barks'. She doesn't do it for very often though so by the time I get the camera, she's stopped. She wakes up very easily so just me walking into the room she would hear me and be awake!

@hotlaurz Yes, they do wake up easily, don't they? It took me forever to get this video! Every time I'd try to get a video of DeeDee sleep talking, she would wake up! She does this several times a day, so I tried a lot! Lol! It's fun to watch them, though. :-)

Wow, is it just greys or is this common for most dogs? Because I'm seeing so many comments about other peoples greyhunds doing te same tng.

@Twitchvids13 I posted a reply earlier, then realized I was thinking of a different video. I think most breeds have some dogs that do this. DeeDee does it several times a day. :-)

@MrRobbieG88 Greyhounds have very thin skin, little fur, and an incredibly low amount of body fat. They get cold very easily, so DeeDee wears pajamas in the wintertime, since it's a little cool in our home - especially on the floor. The shirt in this video was just holding her over until her real, custom made PJs arrived. She loves wearing PJs. She will bring them to me when cold, and often tries to stick her head back through the hole when I take them off. :-)

@Burst3 Thanks! DeeDee has "real" custom PJs now. They were on their way when this video was taken. She insisted on wearing this shirt, trying to stick her head back through the hole when I took it off and even bringing it to me to put on her if I left it laying around. I always checked to make sure she had plenty of room to move when walking, etc, so no worries. She just loved the shirt. :-)

Not just greyhounds, my wolf toook over my closet for her den and will kick the closet doors off sometimes while chasing rabbits in her sleep. And she growls and chirps like that too. lol I love animals, beautiful souls and so innocent.
