  • Yes - those are 8" Andy Mark wheels. The manipulator will be dropped into the hole in the center, on Friday, in Trenton.

Notice the simple method of saving weight - we replaced the gear boxes with Gates GT2 5mm toothed belts & by using Al Sprockets.

  • @mrgreenmachine1 Yes those are Andy Mark 8" Mecanum Wheels. At this point (4/18/10), there is no functional kicker. We have found that the wheel struts are not rigid enough. In fairness to AM, it have adaquate clearance for the wheels, we did have to cut away some material.

  • Why is the center of your chassis open?

  • Yes, we used AM 8 in mecanums. As for a kicker, we are currently making full use of the withholding allowance and are finishing our pneumatically powered kicker right now before Trenton.
