  • One of the best versions ever of this song, - mainly because of Eruc Claptons fantastic guitarplayin'!

  • One thing for sure is that this solo ain't played on a strat..

  • I don't know why I thought this was Mick Taylor playing.. WONDERFUL guitar work anyway!

  • The first time I ever heard this song was this cut, summer of 1970, and even though it starts in the middle of the performance, it is still the definitive version for me. Recorded live in 1966, and Clapton and Bruce really were that good, even then.

John Mayall: The Miles Davis of Rock.

  • @A66omd,..well "Looking Back" is ONE of my favorite Mayall`s albums..this track was took from a Bluesbreakers show with Eric Clapton in the flamingo Club London in 1965 with his legendary Rare Gibson Les Paul 1959 standar (because Clapton always love more his Fender Stratocaster) WOW!! that album Looking Back have too to anothers of my heroes Mr Mick Taylor with his Legendary Les Paul too ...anyway (Fender Starocaster is my favorite!!) thanks for post this GREAT track!! "bestfina43"

  • The greatest guitar solo ever. Wonderful lyrical phrasing. superlative and utterly sustained, Glory days oh yeh....Thanks Eric for everything...

  • Great music and thanks for posting. I remember it from the Mayall album "Looking Back" put out around 1969. Great video of the Fender Strats too but wasn't Eric playing a Gibson Les Paul on the original?

  • Jack Bruce is on bass on this cut.

  • Sensitive!

  • You can find it on "Looking Back". One of Eric's best solos at age 21!!!
