Aranjuez ... The Iraqi interpretation... (مونامور)

This eternal piece of music was one of the first I learnt to play. it was composed by Joaquin Rodrigo Vidre in 1939. Aranjuez is widely known in iraq as Mon Amour, indeed many iraqis would argue stubbornly that its mon amour, and not Aranjuez...

Its true however, that this music was later used to feature many artists all around the world, Mon Amour by Amália Rodrigues, the Portuguese queen of Fado; indeed, even Fairuz sang on this tune her great track of Li Beirut...

Wow! Brilliant execution! Aranjuez/Mon Amour is undoubtedly a wonderful piece of music. Beautiful chords, as in 0:47; 2:30 and other musical pieces. It is so wonderful... It makes me wonder how there are so many hates and wars out there?
