  • There was another band, Gregory D and the Avanties. They were too young to drive so they got an older kid to drive the van around. They played Valhalla too. Cash under the table. A few dropped out of school to play. They had a couple of local hits, one was the "The Grind" . Their main claim to fame was they opened for the Beatles. Thanks for doing this.

  • Feel as if I'm "Walkin' Around" Hatfield MN...and Luverne, as well--great match of song and video--song was a regional hit--well arranged and produced! (One could only imagine what Steve Ellis and the band thought when KOMA-Oklahoma City played their song...)
