To be fair...the Libertines were a very Britsh phenomena...I live in Canada and I doubt that I would have heard of them either if I didn't keep myself abreast of the British Indie scene.

Oasis were way bigger worldwide than the Libertines...might as well accept the fact that there will be tons of people outside the UK that will know Oasis but not the Libertines.

Also if you are an Oasis fan...why is Doherty a twat?

It's alright that you haven't heard of them if you are really from the Netherlands. They never truly became an international thing...but at the same time their is no need to call him a twat and say they are shitty. (especially if you have barely heard their stuff)
