This is a video of me playing a series of famous bass lines.

I messed up timing-wise in a few areas, and I added or left out a note here or there, but I think the overall video is pretty good.

My bass is a Peavey Fury, and my amp is a Peavey 65w with one 12" speaker.

@scaulderz Actually, the thing that's wrong with how I played Feel Good is that I needed to actually tune my strings DOWN a half step. The tabs you just gave are in the wrong key altogether.

learn bass, then try the harder songs. u arent even allowed to play flea songs in 10 years lol. and how does one make a mistake in fucking smells like teen spirit, it does require skill to fail that song.

@Ruben5Bass I'm not allowed to just play songs for fun? Music is an art, not a privilege. I can play whatever I want, and I can screw up whatever I please as well. And RHCP is not something that requires years of experience to play. I can play Hard to Concentrate (and several other songs now since it's been 2 and a half years since I made this video) in full, no mistakes. Go somewhere else and complain. Not my video.

@Ruben5Bass You come onto Youtube and expect professional level quality videos? I didn't upload this to say "Hai guyz, im an awesomes bass players and teh best in the worldsss!" I uploaded it because I wanted to and because it was fun to do. Don't set your expectations so high. You're bound to live in disappointment if you expect a masterpiece from everything you try watching. :)

@cottonfever1221 BTW Am I the only one who notices that when a girl plays a bass-line regaurdless of how bad they play it everyone practically runs to tell her how good she is and then is complimented just for taking on the task of playing music with her being a girl and all and sad to say usually the prettier she is the more thumbs up she gets but if she's on the lower end of the 1-10 scale its a different story Treat everyone the same(unless they are an asshole and deserve a good ribbing)!

There are sooo many critics on youtube,Nobody picked up their chosen instrument for the first time and WOWed the world,Give the dude a break at least he's TRYING to get better,it takes along time to get proficient at any given instrument. Bass is a SMALL community and insted of blasting someone for a mistake(or mistakes)tell them what they did wrong and show them the right way to play it IF you know how,if not then learn it and show everyone how great you truely are, This place is a roast.
