Record setting throws in shot put and discus for Daniel Ramos, III.

In Daniel's second year throwing the shot put and discus, he has made great improvements. This year, he set district and school records in both the shot put and discus. He is leaving middle school as Distrinct Champion with record throws in the discus and shot put. He is looking forward to throwing next year in high school. Daniel would like to give thanks to Coach Williams and many of the other coaches at James Coble. A special thanks to Coach McCullom for all of his support and encouragement. And last but certainly not least, Daniel gives all the credit for his record setting year to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without the strength that the Lord gives, he would not be able to achieve his goals. We give thanks to the Lord for His love and graciousness towards us!

our district record for shotput is 60 feet 3 inches( this is also national record) our district record for discus is 197 feet 3 inches( 2nd all time). the guy who owns these records is the best thrower in the country his name is Ryan Crouser. nobody has come close too his records as i threw the shotput 46.6 and threw the discus 113.11.

@goviks37 - We are familiar with Ryan Crouser. I have seen several of his videos on youtube. Are the records you state for junior high or high school? Daniel was in the 8th grade when these records were made. I do not know of any national record being kept for junior high schools but I may be wrong. This was Daniel's second year throwing so we expect him to be much better next year. In any case, thanks for the post.

How far is daniel throwing now? I have just improved my pb to 49'8'' with a 4 kilogram shot and i've just started grade 8.
