The unique style of singer/songwriter Caetano Veloso is undeniably Brazilian and over his long-spanning career his distinctive style of tropicalia has proven phenomenally popular. He has been described as a combination of John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Dylan Thomas and Stevie Wonder and then some. This concert, from the Metropolitan in Rio de Janeiro, features Veloso singing classic Hispanic songs from the 1940s and 50s, presented in his own, very personal, way including Cucurrucucú Paloma as featured in Pedro Almodóvars 2002 film Talk to Her. He appears with an orchestra conducted by his long-serving musical director Jacques Morelenbaum.

@dolograndi Como eres tonto! Caetano tiene una de las mas perfectas vozes del mundo e tiene su estilo especial; no imita a nadie. Se usted sabe cantar, entonces que cante e ponga aqui pués quiero escuchar e hacer una comparación. Quizás tengas la nota mil.
