  • ohhh my god , wow that is such sad for magic . Wtf you drew like shit! I can related. I played a game where i drew 8 land in a row. Guess what,I lost.

  • The manascrew is allmighty :/

  • @deemo665 A shame, ive seen him flip plenty when I play. And depending on the draft, theres almost always enough spells to flip him. I rarely get them though, they're picked fast. And the sets full of GOOD instant and sorceries.

  • @Blackheart973 again, this is all assuming he will transform. smite is alright, and rebuke and grasp are both top tier removal. honestly how many do you think you'll be able to grab in the draft? lucky if you can get more than one of both. I have played delver and seen him played. Guess how many times I've seen him flip? once. unless you're stacking your deck with mediocre sorceries or instants to transform him, it likely won't happen. most times he will have to chump before he transforms.

  • @deemo665 Again i'll disagree. A flying 3/2 with human type is fantastic. He carries equipment better than most because hes a human flier. And I've rode the back of a bonds of faithed dude many times. Just because its a great removal spell doesnt mean you should completely eliminate it's other function. Bonds of faith is also a reliable pump effect. And I dunno about you, but when im blue/white im packing in as many smite the monstrous, rebukes, and grasp of phantoms as i'm able to grab up

  • @Blackheart973 Any creature carries equipment just fine. Why are you using Bonds of Faith on your own creature? Even if you're playing Blue, you'll probably have 5-7 sorceries or instants at most. Too many and you're running a risk of not having enough dudes. It's human type won't matter much. I have played it multiple times and seen it played multiple times, but getting it flipped is up to luck, and with not very good chances. The only thing it is good for is getting an early Skaab out.

  • @deemo665 And i've seen it take multiple games. Blue has enough instant/sorceries to flip it, and if you pair up with white its not that hard to flip it at least 1-2 games per match. Not only that, its human, the best type to be in Innistrad, Waif isnt. Delver carries equipment and Bonds of Faith like a champ. Waif is probably the better 1 drop, but Delver is a good card either way.

  • FYI my pool was pretty horrendous and I splashed black purely for the rites with 2 swamps, the deck was straight u/w apart from that. Some of the lame creatures were in just to make up the numbers. The deck wasn't that bad overall this was by far the worst it came out in the tournament and I went 3-1.

  • I see...

Well then, 1.3% or 0.8% is still very, very low.

I play swiss often, and usually play 17 lands, sometimes I'll run 16-if mana fixing permits it. At a minimum of once per swiss draft (3 games per), I will see 5 or more lands in a row.

I'd like to provide proof if at all possible, but more often than not magic doesn't save the games.

How do I go about recording these games through third party?

  • @naezs The correct %: 40-7=33 the number of cards left in his deck. 17-3=14 the number of cards lands left in his deck. 14/33= 0,424242…. That means the next time he would draw a card he would have 42,4242% chance to draw a land. 13/32= 0,41 12/31= 0,39 11/30= 0,37 10/29= 0,34 Now we multiply these numbers: 0,42*0,41*0,39*0,37*0,34= 0.008 In oder to get the correct % we do 0.008*100=0.8% that this would happen. 0,8/0,003=267 that is the factor that the % 0.003 was off the right answer.
