@sparwood8 alcohol was illegal at one point in time too. I'd wager someday soon pot will become legal. Alcohol is poison and has killed many both directly and indirectly due to it's judgment impairing effects. Pot is a much safer and milder alternative than alcohol. It's fine that you have your personal beliefs but keep it at that. Not everyone is captive to the narrow minded dogma of religious convictions so respect that.

OBTW the Catholics are NOT Christians. In fact they have murdered millions of believers who wouldn't convert. What it really is is another form of Paganism, with the queen of heaven as Mary instead of Isis. There is no confession box in the Bible.

@sparwood8 people don't seek to alter their minds when having a beer? that's ridiculous. alcohal is much more mind altering then marijuana, i've smoked pot and drank alcohal so i know this from experience. i no longer drink alcohal or smoke cigarettes and i wish other people wouldnt but if someone chooses to then that's ok with me i'll inform them of the health risks but im not going to hurt them or lock them up for choosing to do it.

@sgtkicker111 People don't seek to alter their minds when having a beer. People DO Seek to alter their minds when they smoke pot. This is the sin of witchcraft. God hates it. Read Galatians ch 5: 21, 22. God also made poisonous nighshade. Not good to smoke/eat though. WE are responsible for what we choose to do. God gives you the will to choose... and you can choose Jesus and life, or reject him and his offer of eternal life, and therefore choose death
