Without materialistic desires,
the mind is like the autumn sky and an open ocean.
Just practice my martial art and feel my spirit,
I can be a Saint in a hideaway.

A vessel topples because it is too full.
A piggy bank is saved from being shattered for its emptiness.
So a happy person prefers to be self content,

  • Is this Shuai Jiao and Chin Na or Jujutsu?

  • @ixachitlanabyayala Thanks for asking. This is all of the above.

  • Out of interest is this a combination of arts i.e. bjj and shuai jiao or is this a pure chinese style. I understand this might be a shallow question as true art knows no borders. Expression is for the self and not ethnicity, but I am intrigued as there are no many Chinese representatives in the ground game. Peace

  • @kjax2008 Before UFC, we have been doing jiu jitsu, shuai jiao submission grappling, along with our Kung-fu for hundred of years. It is my belive that before UFC, grappling due to unpopolarity, there were only a handful of martial artists understand and practising this beautiful arts. I wish I have answered your question, and thank you for asking.

  • @kjax2008 most of this is pure shuai jiao which is very similar to judo which if you combine jujuitsu and judo ground move is basicly brazillian jujuitsu,...execpt shuai jiao is oldest form of grappling/submission,jujuitsu is older then judo and judo is older then brazilllian jujuitsu

  • Since there arent too many representatives of the Chinese grappling arts I figured you would interested in another system of chinese grappling, its the Ngo Dak Na system of kung fu on the entertaichi channel here on youtube, and its also nice to see someone simply expressing the art of grappling and not so style oriented.

  • What song is this?

  • @kjax2008 If I may ask who is this person who does Chinese ground fighting? What's his name?

  • @pcbd Thank you. :) is this Brazilian JiuJutsu or Japanese Jujutsu?

  • This is awesome.. I don't see a lot of sifu practicing jujitsu. Many of the sifu I've met have only learned one style and they stick to it religiously. Thanks for the videos.

  • I can only say to you sir, that you have made my day, month, year for redeeming Chinese martial arts in terms of ground fighting. This is what I have been debating with people for a long time about. Excellent representation, sir! What do you think about using certain classic qin na techniques to submit a person while still basically standing? I would really love to see someone take it to these mma & bjj guys with that idea. Much respect to you, shifu.

  • Shaui Jiao is an imperial bodygaurd style. It originated as killing techniques and self defense. Shuai Jiao doesnt do much ground work because they goal was to get you on the ground and stab or execute you and to stay off the ground. If your on the ground and there is more than one opponent you are going to get stomped or stabbed to death. Which is why sport shuai jiao there is no ground work. Now there is certain killing and breaking techniques shuai jiao does on the ground but not in sporting
