I'm NOT a crow hunter, but rather, I'm simply demonstrating the use of the crow call in this video.

  • sounds good. Don't puff out your cheeks.

  • @SDoutside Thanks for the tip! I'm getting better at this since I did this video. Using the crow call sure isn't as easy as I originally thought it would be. But I'm coming along with it.

  • What brand/maker/model is that Crow call? I want to get one.

  • @Romanorum It's a Lohman brand call. Not sure of the model number, or if they make more than one style crow call. You can get them on Amazon.com for just several dollars.

  • I wish you would make more anxiety videos.

  • @zebracrunk Don't worry, I will.

  • well thats pretty darn good. I just bought me a lohman squirrel call and i hope i can bring in some

  • @Romanorum get a Haydells'. I used lohmans to make certain crow calls like that high pitched "ca ca ca" but the haydells' plastic call can duplicate almost any call out there except the rattling mating call often heard in spring at close range.Maybe I will make a video explaining the proper crow calls. not sure.

  • That short harsh call is an assembly call to attack an enemy. The long drawn out harsh calls are fight calls too. The short clear smooth calls you used initially are "run for your life" calls. Their calls are a bit complex and if you hear a rattling call ; this is used when a crow approaches its' mate. Impossible to duplicate. often heard during mating season The plastic haydells' call will trump any crow call no matter much you paid for it; or what it is made of.
