DefiANCE @ Moon Festival in city heights

First performance of the season at VAYA's moon festival in city height rec.

*these are one of the events that are important for us to perform at because this group was created to entertain the crowd of asian american families who would usually not accept 'hip hop'. This medley was made for mostly the families and kids. Songs and choreography were made to be appropriate and fun for the kids, not to be sick or cool. Seeing the kids up front dance along with us was one of the greatest feelings of accomplishments.
And we hope we showed a new light to the parents and families out there who come to believe hip hop is 'inappropriate & improper', that.....they're wrong.
