James retired from performing as Marilyn in 1997.

He still performs his show of 'Voices' and his own music. He is currently enjoying the success of a self-penned world-wide hit called "Fashionista" from the album 'Jamestown.' The song is heard in Dance Clubs and fashion shows around the world.

@sigmafan Which GAME? I don't perform as Marilyn anymore. I quit that in '97. I had done it for about 17 years total and that was enough. She herself didn't even do it that long. I still do my show of Voices and I have my own original album iTunes called JAMESTOWN. Also other CDs too: "RAW" live in NYC & "The ONE & MANY VOICES of JIMMY JAMES - live" recorded in Provincetown, MA. I'm still performing. I'm not dead.

Jimmy- saw you last week in Ptown at the Ann Frank attic for the Performing Arts (Great line)...This is my third time seeing u in Ptown over the years -- Incredible - you get better every year. Your Liza is amazing as is your Billie Holiday and Eartha Kitt. WOW.

As a huge Marilyn fan I'm always really, really picky about impersonators but Jimmy James just nails it. The mannerisms, the expressions, the looks, the presence...it's all there! I'm truly in awe.
