I edited the audio cause all the other versions were way too quiet.

August Burns Red - Mosley [Unreleased+Louder version]

It all happened so fast. Speeding off into the distance. That night I wish you could have taken control. To steer clear from your last breath. Such a short 18 years, gone in the blink of an eye. Oxygen is escaping. Your fate is embracing. This road tells a story of a life cut short. Sirens are the sound that I hear in the back of my mind. You leaving this world left us falling apart limb by limb. Never getting over the loss of a loved one. That morning we all stood mourning, coming to terms with this reality. I believed the world stopped spinning. To steer clear from your last breath. Such a short 18 years, now gone. I wish you could see me now. You'd be so proud, my dearest friend. I'll see you again, my dearest friend.

  • 1:06 Black kid?

  • @Mercenariodj i believe it was. from what ive read on the internet, he was a very close friend to the band, and he died at the age of 18 in a car crash.

  • crap sound quality :/

  • damn this song is badass their newest album leveler is absolutly brilliant but i do miss the off beat breakdowns they usually do like the one at 1:01 classic ABR

  • was mosley a real person close to them?

  • @WakeNBake024 It takes a certain ear to understand this type of vocal style. I for one can understand every word, because Jake (the singer) enunciates every word very well; whereas other bands that make use of a screamer sound really messy or just noisy.

But I agree with mrmrdarko. If you'd take the time to read ABR's lyrics, they're all very, VERY deep and meaningful.

I'm a fan of Rush as well, but ABR takes the cake for poetic lyrics by far.

  • Powerful meanings? Ha. Listen to Rush. This shit is nonsense XD You can't even understand what he's saying!

  • @monkeytriangle666 a friend of mine was talking about this band and I decided to check it out. but it's fucking annoying that ppl here are commenting like it would be STUPID not to like this song. well, turns out i think this song is BS and some ppl just have to deal with it. :P

  • @Sane051 Thats fair enough, I listen to all them too. But why would you even come near a band like this, you were hardly expecting folsom prison blues, were you?
