i used to hate brand new day

but it made a new start for the writers so they can make more series and i prefer spidey without mj.....

I don't hate it,, but I think they dropped the ball with Jackpot not being Mary Jane though...

Don't you love the fact they did all to to all make Peter secret identity secret again, and only to have him reveal himself to the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four, lol...

Nope, but apparently Peter did something to cause the actual mind-wipe of his secret identity... Even though I swear that MJ still knows... The Avengers asked him to he move his mask, so they knew it was him, and not a Skrull...

The only reason why One More Day happened is because of Ultimate Spider-Man and Marvel adventures Spider-Man due to the fact that those books were outselling Amazing, and those stupid idiots at Marvel decided that MJ and Peter should be split up so that Spider-Man can work best when he is single.

I just don't see how these stories are better without MJ being married to Peter.They would still be the same stories married to MJ. I would've liked them better if they were still maried because now I feel a sense of anguish, that might be too strong of a word though.If you wanted to bring new writers in to pump up sales, just do it without retconning everything so you can have Peter not be married. And since when is Spider-man selling his soul to the devil okay to do?

one more day had me reading spider man again and the civil war stuff before was the snow ball that got me into it. brand new day put that snowball to a grinding hault. now I just casuly peek in on it to see if they fixed anything yet but it's still fells like I'm reading marvel adventus or ultimite spider-man I need contiouty to justafy being a grown man reading comic book. because I always say the storys go back 30 years so I grow into them.

Mainly when you wipe out many years of continuity it's trash, and deplorable. It's like all those grand Spider Man stories with huge events didn't mean crap since it's like History has been erased.

Actually they brought back Peter' and MJ's marriage in the daily Spider-Man comic strip, after there was a negative reaction to the marriage ending... Now readership is up....

I agree. In my opinion, Carr is just one of MJ's freinds from Hollywood that she shacked up with just to clear her head over what to do with Peter, intending to go back to him (as a friend or a lover), Carr offered to pose as her boyfriend, but kept MJ's identity a secret to keep Peter from finding out and hurting him that way. As for "sleeping together", Carr could have offered to sleep on the couch, but MJ insisted he sleep with her just because he was kind enough to gesture that
