  • @colaidj Yeah, my laptop is like my most important possession too. I think I'm gonna try to remove the effected keys and the keyboard if necessary and mist it with warm water from a spray bottle to melt and wash away the sticky beer residue. The problem is... I can't stop using it long enough to actually do this... I'm a total internet junkie!!!

  • @wdb1111 Dude i feel your pain i spilled beer on mine too and now its all sticky I'm pissed as heel but it still works but freakin sucks about the keys! SUCKS!

  • @Digadogup Its really sticky in the keys because it was a really strong beer with alot of dissolved solids in it. I've come 2 the conclusion that I'll have 2 pop the keys off and spray it with a spray bottle w warm water on a mist setting while holding the laptop upside down. The only thing is I'll have 2 wait for it 2 dry thoroughly and I haven't been without my laptop 4 more than an 8 hour period in months and months. I don't know if I could bear going without it for any amount of waking time.

  • @wdb1111 HAVE YOU TRIED DRYING IT OUT WITH A HAIR DRYER, YOU MAY HAVE TO OPEN THE COMPUTER (capslock :>) up and remove most of the moisture.
