hey i love your nails and bought my cosmar quick nails at cvs for ten dollars :) but i have a question i cant seem to get them to look as smooth as yours? how many coats of the brush on gel and gel activator do you apply ?and did you buff your nail after you applied the product or before ? thanks so much i love your vids ! :D

@watsupdanielle This was a long time ago, but I think I used a light hand on the gel, just making sur eto apply enough for a smooth finish and so the ridge where the tip started would be smoothed. The activator just took a spritz or two.

Can you paint over the gel? And does it cause the gel to come off when you use polish remover? Thanks :) Great movie :)

@jonathansgirl21 You can paint over it and remove with acetone-free polish remover. If you use something with acetone (which is used to remove acrylic nails), it'll smudge or come off.

how long did the kiss nails stay on

@blackrose4296 A little under 2 weeks. I don't have the gel topcoat they use in salons to make them last longer but I think you can buy that on eBay.

How long do these last? When they grow out and need to be filled, what do you use to fill them? Have you tried acrylics and if so, which do you think are better?
