I was hit with a poor concrete job recently, BUT MAN... This takes the cake! UNBELIEVABLE. I was able to get a portion of my money back though.

well... maybe bob is not a concrete pro but neither am i... my first concrete project was just as good as a "pro" (of course i learned from a pro). this is just pure crappy workmanship even if it is done by a first time concrete worker. bob obviously did not even think about how the forms were going to be affecting the finished work. this requires a lack of 3D vision that is a requirement for making anything. in conclusion, bob was not a very handy man either.

This guy's only problem is that he believed the handyman when he said he could do it. But the handyman lied. Yet a lot of the comments fault him for taking the handyman at his word. Big contractors have to charge a lot because they have to pay benefits, etc, so it makes sense that a handyman could do it for a lot significantly less. He trusted the wrong handyman: that's all. So all the "you get what you pay for" remarks amount to nothing but spite and Monday morning quarterbacking.

You probably paid nothing and nothing is what you got. You could clad it with Stone...but I hope it has proper rebar because looking at the ground it is going to start wandering right quick after hard and sustained rain. You are to blame, you used a back yard bandit.

People like this guy always want work done for next to nothing.Obviously this was not a concrete contractor or finisher he hired.Probably hired a Handyman and talked the pour soul into doing this staircase. You get what you pay for.I'm sure for about $5000.00 you can get it fixed and come off the additional $4500 you tried to save the first time.

Dont tell me you paid Bob for this! You didnt did you? Excuse me while I go puke! Bob is just one of a thoasand others out there claiming to be a concrete finisher.It takes a seasoned pro to do nice stair work. Most of the guys claiming to be concrete finishers couldnt finish my lunch much less setup a set of stairs the right way. Why a person like BOB would even attempt to pour steps is beyond me. Funny thing is theres a hundred more Bobs running around fucking up everything they touch
