This third movement has German written all over it. Bach is saying here, "enough of this frilly Italian cruft; let's finish it properly."

This is just perfect in tempo, phrasing, dynamic and most importantly it is fresh and full of energy

Even though Lugansky can play this perfectly while keeping the tempo that quick, I still like this song performed a bit slower :(

Very fast, but it doesn't *feel* fast because of the detail!

Wonderful performance. He successfully express Bach's wish straigntforwardly. Highly talented pianist!!

wow this interpretation is even better than gould's early recording (the fast version)
on par with gould's late recording (the slower version)
Gould's has better articulation and voicing, but this version simply owns with pure liveliness of a 19 y.o

He also recorded English Suite no.3 in his debut recital's LP. I haven't got that yet, so I hope that would release as a CD...
