This is for anyone having trouble with least steps on challenge on chamber 18.

A couple hard shortcuts can be made if you're willing to use save/load when you screw up. First, you can make that initial jump out of the elevator in 2 steps instead of 3. Second, aim for the far right corner of the first ceiling. As you fall, move even closer to the edge of the cliff and wall. If you now look further ahead you can just barely see the ceiling above the 3rd platform, bypassing the second. This should leave you with 6 steps at the third platform instead of 9.

I posted a 17 but it's for Silver. I posted it now because it's a pain to keep restarting, and I'm sure people will figure out how to get gold from it =)
