BOARD OF RABBIS IN CONCERT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SYNAGOGUE AT KENNEDY AIRPORT------APPEARED BEFORE MANY N. Y. ORGANIZATIONS YESHIVA UNIVERSITY - EMUNAH WOMEN OF AMERICA-----RECEIVED THE SHOFAR AWARD FROM NATIONAL COUNCIL OF YOUNG ISRAEL FOR BEING CANTOR OF THE YEAR AT THE SHERATON CENTER ON APRIL 2 1989

Thanks for producing the video of the Moshe K Concert - it helps to remember Moshe Geffen all the more. I guess when we all meet our maker - we'll have a chance to maybe relive that concert in the sky [with Moshe K, Moshe G ... and my Papa Hersch Laibele.

Cantor Moshe Geffen displayed a similar timbre to Moshe K and a similar style - after all the Chazzanim of that era borrowed the 'sound and style' from each other - it was a pleasure to listen to his rendition in the Moshe K memorial concert but: Moshe Geffen was truly and 'omed kinstler' and I'm proud to say that he moved me even now as I went back to listen to him once again.
