A Super 8 PhonoVue film titled "Dance of the Drums" is presented in its original format: without sound. Feel free to lay down your own soundtrack. Anything from 1967 or 1968 would be appropriate.
On a personal note, I once ran Phonovue films on a large screen in a bar while a rock band performed. The films brought out more (and wilder) dancers than usual. Many folks copied the moves seen on the screen. The leader of that band has since passed away, so this film is dedicated to my good friend, Mark Pannier.

Either Duke Ellington's "La Pl;us Belle African" , Bo Diddley or a Tennessee
Walttz (counterpoint) would be great with this.
amazing look back. Do you know where these were conceived and produced. Back then, different regions of the US were extremely distinct , especially about racial & sexual attitudes.
