My cousins and me untangle a wild deer caught in a barb wire fence in Northeast Kansas.
Sorry about the lousy filming. My little brother did most of it. I had to cut a lot of the footage. I think he was caught up in in show. Filmed with a Flip Video
This was recently featured on Animal Planet's 'Untamed and Uncut'
What an experience.. What a video..

Its a thousand wonders that deer didnt send someone to the hospital or the morgue! I would never have let a young child get that close to a wild deer , especially one that was hurt and in survival mode!

i think these young men did the right thing no the deer is not sick it was tired dehydrated and hungry he was probly really sore too they were not trying to hurt it by "dragging it around " he was trying to get the buck away from the road good job

@cultivationist
Noooo You saw them off about 4-6 inches above the base, after the velvet (fuzzy covering )comes off there is not blood circulation or sensation in that area of the antler. Plus with all the stress the buck has gone though, it would of tasted terrible. So by sawing off the antlers you not only free the buck...you also ensure it will be fine during hunting season.

@vikingsmaster10 shoot the buck in the face from point blank range? with a bow?
its people like you and comments like this that give....responsible, ethical, and conservation minded hunters like me a bad rep, i'm sorry your low life morals and standards influenced my comment
