Beginners Guitar Lesson #4 - D major, A major, G major

From now on, my lessons are going to be on Mondays. It'll give you guys something to look forward to after school, work or University - I hope!

This video teaches you three new (really really important) chords; D major, A major and G major. I'll also put them into context with a song - 'Thunder' by Boys Like Girls.

I've had a lot of questions for my Guitar FAQ video, but have decided to leave it a bit longer in case you guys have any more. If you do want to know anything about learning or playing the guitar, get in touch!

Haha! Yeah, you can buy left handed guitars. Kurt Cobain was left handed, as is Justin Bieber! Some artists actually play left handed guitars even if they're right handed, like Kris Roe from The Ataris. Technically there's nothing stopping you from learning on a right handed guitar but it'll be much harder for you to stay coordinated. Hope this helps!

I usually do G major 1st finger second fret, second finger second fret on thick E, third finger third fret thin E

Does it matter or is your way the proper?
