Set in "no mans land" this display in the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa is horrifically honest to all viewing the museum. This is a scene from World War One above the trenches on the battlefield in no mans land.
no man's land, because one day it was gained by germans, 1day and 768 dead soldiers later allied forces regained it, the day after germans got it back etc, etc,..
very often they fought over 50meters of land, killing 1000's of soldiers on both sides.
It was called no mans land for several reasons 1st was it was literally obliterated looked like a scene from hell with bombs going off and 2ns you left your trench enemy mg s and snipers would get ya
