  • religion and state, two separate entities.. leave them separate...

    why do atheist marry?

it isn't to appease their religion.. it's because it's the ultimate action of love.. to promise their love to one another..

how dare people try and stop that for some and ok it for others, this shouldn't be an issue..

  • Thank you mister Olberman. Finally someone really gets it.

  • Not to mention that this country is supposed to be about separation of church and state, and yet the government gets tied up in declaring who can take part in a deeply religious, rather outdated ceremony.

  • One of the better Special Comments from Keith.

I always find it a combination of hilarity, sadness, and anger when people (especially religious people) try to justify their discriminations against gay/lesbian rights. Keith pretty much hits it on the head. How the fuck does it affect you? If god truly does exist and it truly is against god's will, then they'll burn in a fiery hell regardless, while you float up on angel wings. I just don't understand it.

  • haha faggits lost bitch!!!!!!

  • could hear these i can't say any better yes man thank god with all hate i whish prop8 would go away

  • I don't really have a comment. Intolerance poisons the metabolism of mankind. Only unity makes us strong. As an evaluation of the world's metabolism, mankind's innocence is what esotericly grants us the WANT to learn about the world. And yet we go on with our lives, nigh never wondering about matters other than those involved with the life we have here on Earth. It's true.

  • If they're all consenting adults, then why not? At least the open-marriage libertarians are consistent. The gay groups only want to legalize gay marriage and then get pissy if someone suggest legalizing polygamy.

  • I have a hard time seeing how marriage between any two people and marriage between any number of people are the same thing.

  • i don't think he's discriminating against any majority.

  • Yeah breed, that's all matters, RIGHT?

U're so full of shit, don't be so arrogant 'cause u just don't understand the fucking point of this.

This man is trying to tell us that NOBODY HAVE THE RIGHTS TO TELL US HOW TO LIVE. AND PROP 8 IT'S JUST WRONG 'CAUSE TELL US WHO WE CAN MARRY AND WHO DON'T.

  • If we shouldn't keep people separated and unmarried because they're both the same sex, what about those poor people in Utah that love more than one woman. If they're consensual adults, then legalize polygamy. Hell, they can make it even more fair than it was in the past by letting women having multiple husbands. Yet, I've heard gay rights activists attack polygamy. I guess some sexual perversions should be given a second thought and others not. Hypocrites.
