  • where do i buy this stuff at?

  • @abovemusic1 DJTechTools

  • could you use this as a beat machine like an akai?

  • yes- it sends out all native midi notes just like a drum machine so you can plug it in and play beats in ableton, live or reason with no configuration.

  • Looks sexy, especially with the customization elements. The kit is pushing $200 including the buttons though, with an environmentally exposed circuit board and fixed velocity buttons. What makes this cooler than a Padkontrol or similar device that has pressure-sensitive pads, nigh-endless farmpad configuration, XY control, etc? A launchpad gives more buttons even. Not to mention the cheap 50-60 dollar nano type pads out there.

Add a bank of 2x4 knobs to it and I'll be in line, however. :)

  • What is the track on here?

    Youngster!

No seriously, you kids get off my lawn.

  • so could you buy different face plates and switch them out?

  • @rhadiem what makes it better? rapid fire triggers. hands down the coolest thing you can do with a controller. You cant do that on pressure sensitive pads.

  • @eangolden can i play for example snare rolls on one button without it missing half of the notes like the mpd?

  • @rhadiem lol the feel of it ? build quality and size? its not massive but its not too small. the buttons will last pretty much for ever and r easy to mash on them. its not that expensive idk y everyones trippin lol.

  • @BlakeMitchell1 just to be creative lol

  • this song is the shit.
