  • Wow, that seems complicated for retieing in a tree. I climbed for over 4 years, and for the biner, we used a figure 8 or noose, and only a 2/1 wrap of your "magic knot". The 2/1 wrap can be easily untied and tied with one hand, and is plenty safe.

  • Wen I tie an inline system I use a bowline then the blakes with a termination on the end

  • why don't you use a bowline instead of the figure 8 on a bight
