Todays Autoracers are powered by Suzuki SEAR (Suzuki Engine Auto Race) units, mostly AR600 twins but 500cc units are also produced for the novice riders.

Pretty neat. Like the way handlebars are shape to compensate for lean & turns.

Thanks for the information. I love the exhaust sounds of the old Autorace videos you posted.
It's ironic that at one time, the only country that had races using only Triumph engines was Japan!

How can I buy one of the 500cc SEAR motors?

@acotrel1 Only the beginner player uses 500cc SEAR.
Because the rookie doesn't have room in money, senior's 500cc engine is often inherited.
Therefore, it never circulates.

Are they talking about the crank layout of this bike? I know the older Autorace bikes used Triumph twins (360 degree crank) and the current Autorace bikes use a special motor with a 180 degree crank. This bike looks like it has the newer motor, but sounds more like a Triumph.

This engine was developed with the prototype that improved CDI and the crank for the auto race quality improvement.
It is a prototype for the autorace made of the sea bass.
To our regret, it was not adopted though several-time testrun was done.
As for the autorace fan of Japan, it thinks the exhaust sound of the crank engine to be
nostalgic 360 degree.
The triumph was used in the autorace of Japan 20 years ago.
